I have a question for you.

How did you start driving? Did someone hand you the keys to a car and say “good luck?”

I have another question. Have you ever taken your car in for any type of maintenance? Have you ever gotten an oil change, or new brake pads, or just taken it in for a tune up?

Chances are, when you first started driving, someone gave you guidance on how to operate a vehicle. Now that you know what to do, hopefully you don’ t  just drive your car until it falls apart, but instead get maintenance on a somewhat regular basis.

My last question is this: Do you want your marriage to last longer than your car?

Hopefully, the answer to that question is yes. However, so many of us go into marriage completely unguided and expect it to work for a lifetime with no maintenance along the way.

We understand maintenance when it comes to our things. We understand professional development when it comes to our jobs, but it’s hard to understand that marriage, which carries a lot more weight than taking care of a car or even choosing a job, is something that needs just as much, if not more, maintenance and guidance.

My goal is to help couples understand. As a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, I will use the time-tested Prepare/Enrich program to help you identify strength and growth areas in your marriage, and use that information to help guide you through proven exercises to help you prepare for a good marriage, or stregnthen and maintain the one you have.

Join us online on Tuesday, April 16 at 9 p.m. EST for a webinar to learn more about the Prepare/Enrich program. One attendee will win a free assessment and follow up session.
