Three Things I Like About Him
The Generous Wife posted this challenge on her blog and of course we were all over it. The challenge is to create a “21 Days book” by writing down three good things about your spouse and/or your marriage every day over the next 21 days. Here are my three for the day:
I like the fact that he can and does cook. Not just because I love eating, but also because there is nothing like getting home from working a long day and not having to worry about figuring out what to make for dinner. It frees up time for me to have with the kids, or spend getting other things done that I need to do.
I like that he is a handy man. If something goes haywire in the house I can count on him to fix it. Maybe not as soon as I want it done, but it will get done.
I like that he doesn’t mind getting the kids ready for bed. He understands that we’re a household with two working parents, and in order for it to run properly the responsibility for the kids needs to be shared between us.
That’s my list for today. The other little added part of this I’ll challenge you to do is to actually share these good things with your spouse. As much as I appreciate hearing them, I’m sure he or she will love hearing them even more.
Share your list! Tell us three good things about your spouse or marriage in the comments.

Thanks for the mention. Being positive focused really does help you see all that your husband is.
1. I don’t have to set my alarm because he wakes me up in the morning. 2. All the good music he introduces me to. 3. I don’t have to ask for anything twice – if he says he’ll do something, it’s done.
