In case you didn’t already know, date night is important. Unfortunately, when you’re busy with work, kids, events and everything else that seems to go along with being alive, date night can too often get pushed to the back burner.

Today’s challenge is to look at your calendar and schedule at least one date night within the next 30 days. Unless the world blows up between now and then, make sure you don’t skip out on your night for any reason. If you’re having trouble nailing down a date or figuring out what to do, take a look at some resources to get you headed in the right direction even if you’re low on funds and don’t have childcare.

I am reading this post while my husband is out of town for work, but I am going to call him tonight to schedule a date night. Thank you for the inspiration! BTW, love the title of your blog.

It’s so easy to let these things get overdue isn’t it? Once a month seems like such a small commitment, but still so easy to get caught up in life and put date nights to the back burner.

I had a date night with my boyfriend, it was Tuesdays. to save money I volunteered to cook, except that after spending hours in the kitchen after work, the rest of the evening never feels like a date night, so I cancelled them; I am brainstorming how to get myself out of the kitchen while keeping costs low :)
